Pearl Jam dropper Roskilde-tapen

Pearl Jam finner det for støtende å gi ut Roskilde-opptaken på cd-serien fra sommerens Europa-turné. I respekt for de etterlatte, dropper Pearl Jam å gi ut de 12 første låtene fra konserten med det tradiske utfallet. Bare konsertene fra 23. mai til og med 29. juni (Oslo Spektrum), skal ut på dbl-cd'er, melder bandets hjemmeside i dag. Det betyr at Bellingham og Vancouver-konsertene også er utelatt, selv om det ble rapportert annerledes igår. PULS gir deg alle reportuarlistene fra de aktuelle konsertene.

Hovedidéen bak live-utgivelsene var å stoppe overprisa bootlegs med dårlig lydkvalitet som "forsøpler" markedet. Når så Pearl Jam velger å holde tilbake opptakene fra deres mest berømte konsert, legger det veien åpen for profitthungrige og nekrofile spekulanter, selv om jeg ikke sånn uten videre vil anklage ihuga Pearl Jam-fans for akkurat det.
