Puls - 19-åring døde under Radiohead-konsert

19 år gamle Jeffrey Maguire døde som følge av skadene han pådro seg under en konsert med Radiohead i Liberty Park i Jersey City, torsdag i forrige uke. Det er ennå ikke klart hva som var årsaken til at Maguire falt sammen under den utsolgte konserten og døde mindre enn én time seinere, melder ntb. Ubekreftede meldinger antyder likevel en mulig sammenheng med ecstacy.

Ifølge Jersey Journal News kollapsa Maguire rundt kl.20.00 lokal tid. Han var erklært død 20.55, etter at han var bragt til Jersey City Medical Center.

Førsteassistentsakfører i Hudson County - Terrence Hull - sier det ikke var tegn til trauma eller synlige indikasjoner på dopbruk hos den avdøde, men kilder i The State Department Of Environmental Protection, påstår at Maguire pådro seg en eller annen form for illebefinnende.

Dette var Radioheads første av to konserter Liberty Park i Jersey City, NJ på US-turnéen - før avslutninga i Hollywood Bowl, Los Angeles nå mandag.
